The Opportunity

Reporting to Head of IT, you will provide leadership and direction to lead the IT Security function in formulating security policies, framework and implementing security strategies. You work closely with internal cyber security steering committee and external cyber security bodies to monitor security trends, regulations and formulate effective strategies for internal implementation. 

The Role

  • Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and risk management program
  • Develop and maintain information security framework, policies, processes/ procedures, standards and guidelines; oversee the approval, training, and dissemination of security policies and practices.
  • Establish compliance with these policies / procedures through ongoing security reviews and audits
  • Create, communicate and implement a risk-based process for vendor risk management, including the assessment and treatment for risks that may result from partners, consultants and other service providers.
  • Provide regular reporting on the current status of the information security program to company senior business leaders as part of a strategic risk management program.
  • Responsible for the development and management of security incident response plan.
  • Working with group audit and compliance teams to ensure all standards are being followed.
  • Liaise with stakeholders (Communication, Legal, Finance, Operation etc) within the organization on security-related matters
  • Liaise with the company’s development team to ensure alignment between the security and development practices.

Job Requirements

The Person

  • 10-15 years of progressive IT Security experience, including cybersecurity and risk management in with at least 5 years in a management
  • Must possess professional security management certification such as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or other similar credentials
  • Demonstrated knowledge of common information security management frameworks such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001 and or HITRUST, ITIL, COBIT and an understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated experience of leading an enterprise security program
  • Experience with data breach management and managing an actual data breach.
  • Knowledge of network related protocols and security event log management and reporting tools.
  • Experience with maintaining operational computer and network security, firewall administration, virus protection, intrusion detection and prevention, automated security patching, and vulnerability scanning systems
  • Experience with Cloud-based information protection
  • An excellent team player with collaboration skills and a drive for results approach
  • Ability to be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives
  • High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision while being resilient to change
  • Willing to travel outside of Singapore
