The Communications Manager will primarily drive and support the public relations and corporate communication needs of Jardine Cycle & Carriage (JC&C). The central element of the work will focus on the implementation of the anniversary campaigns.

 



The Opportunity 

 

  • Support the JC&C PR and corporate communications function. Responsibilities in developing media releases and statements and other corporate and financial communications materials such as corporate presentations, videos and speeches, execute communications plans, as well as provide support for the delivery of 120th anniversary campaigns.

  • Support the communications needs of JC&C’s Direct Motor Interests business. Responsibilities include developing and updating corporate presentations, publishing the 1899 blog by identifying, drafting and featuring stories from the region, as well as oversee the SEO and maintenance of the Cycle & Carriage regional website and provide guidance on other Cycle & Carriage websites to ensure on-brand execution.

  • Coordinate the continued roll-out of the new Cycle & Carriage brand and serve as brand guardian in Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar. Manage regional pre/post anniversary campaign brand research by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work with external agencies and internal stakeholders to conceptualise, develop and execute brand communications materials. Projects include developing and managing Cycle & Carriage websites, videos, presentations, internal brand awareness materials and toolkits, and other communications materials.

  • Provide support to the communications needs of CSR initiative, MINDSET, a mental health registered charity.

     

Job Requirements



Do you have the following requirements?

  • Graduate from a recognized university
  • Knowledgeable in communications, with minimum 7 years’ experience
  • Solid ability in project management
  • Outstanding ability to write and edit contents, messages, reports, articles, briefing notes, speeches, and other materials. A flair for creative writing is a plus.
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Confident, resourceful and able to work independently
  • Team player; ability to work with people of various functions and management levels
  • Organised, with a keen attention to detail and excellent proof-reading skills
  • Excellent IT skills - Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and experience with web and design software will be a plus
